@ENERGY/Storage functions provide data for use in storage management, and provide values for the following storage instrument types:
- Salt dome/cavern storage facility: Storage asset that can be cycled as many as 10 times in a year. This storage asset typically lacks injection/withdrawal ratchets that are implicit in other types of storage.
- Reservoir storage: Storage asset that can be cycled less than two times a year, and, due to its operational characteristics, has detailed inventory level-dependent injection and withdrawal constraints.
- Park and loan agreement: Short-term storage service used by power generation plants to inject or withdrawal gas account imbalances.
- Gas storage service: Retail storage service provided by pipelines and LDCs to large industrial firms.
@ENERGY/Storage includes templates for specific contracts and assets such as park and loan agreements and reservoir storage assets. FEA regularly expands instrument coverage and publishes new spreadsheet templates.
